Decembers Lessons and Themes

I will put up the Christmas party sign up sheet when we return from the Thanksgiving holidays.  Also, I will send home blankets on this Monday as well.  I hope that you have a blessed holiday.

If you haven't already, now would be a great time to send a warmer change of clothes just in case there is an accident or spill at school.

Finally be sure to check your calendars for the upcoming fun dates such as Jesus' Birthday Party and our class party.

No those aren't pirate hats! ;-)  Those are our pilgram hats.  We talked a lot in November the things we are thankful for and these ten kiddos are certainly at the top of my list!

 

 

 

 

A Month of Thanks

As we say goodbye to October and hello to November, we will talk a lot this month about being thankful for all that we have.  Below is a schedule of our lessons and themes for the month of November.  We will not have school the last week of November to allow extra time with friends and family for Thanksgiving.

Fall Festival and Art Show

Fall Festival and Art Show

Friday is our family friendly Fall Festival and Art Show.  I will post pictures of the art displayed on the walls and table on Saturday or Monday...I want to give those who live near by a chance to see their kiddo's masterpieces on the walls without any spoilers.

Also, bring some cash or a checkbook with you to the fall festival.  We have some awesome class projects up for a silent auction as well as some nice donations.

Can't wait to see the littles in their costumes.

This week

This week we are talking about Fire Safety.  I will be sending home some fun fire safety activities and remember it's never too early to talk to your kiddos about what to do if there is ever a fire.  Where will they go?  Where will they meet you?  Reminding them to never, ever go back inside.  Is there a neighbor they can go to?  It's important to remind them not to hide during an event such as a fire.

We have a busy couple of weeks ahead.  Our fall festival is just around the corner as is our Halloween class party.  This year our only food allergy is to peaches, so if you sign up for juice boxes, please be sure to check the ingredients for peach.
